Chief Executive Officer
Darren Woody serves as Chief Executive Officer of Jordan Foster Construction, a post that he has held since June 2000. Mr. Woody has more than 30 years of extensive experience in construction and real estate.
Mr. Woody is Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate, has authored numerous publications on construction and real estate issues, and is a frequent speaker at leading construction and real estate industry forums.
Mr. Woody is currently a director of Helen of Troy (NASDAQ: HELE), a member of the National Association of Home Builders (Multifamily Leadership Board), McCombs School of Business Real Estate & Investment Center (Executive Council), United States Green Building Council, Urban Land Institute, Society of Military Engineers, YPO-WPO Real Estate Roundtable, Austin Chapter of YPO Gold. Mr. Woody has been actively involved in many nonprofit groups including the Vestry of St. Clement’s Church, and is currently a board member of the Texas Book Festival.
President - The Building Group
Roy Raines serves as President of Jordan Foster Construction' Building Group. With more than 30 years of construction industry experience, Mr. Raines has managed projects in Multifamily, Commercial and Federal Government work throughout the United States and Guam. Prior to assuming leadership of the Multifamily Group in 2014, Mr. Raines served as Vice President of the Federal Division of Jordan/BEK.
Mr. Raines’ extensive experience includes design-build multifamily complexes, mixed-use residential projects, mid-rise and high-rise office buildings, headquarters facilities, hospitals, surgery centers, and medical facilities. His work on infrastructure projects includes electrical substations, water treatment plants, runways and taxiways, along with air traffic control towers, and reserve centers for the U.S. Armed Forces. Mr. Raines has also performed security-clearance work within several government offices.
Mr. Raines’ education experience includes Construction Management from California State University, Chico, and Butte College, Building Technology Engineering.
President - Infrastructure & Concrete
John Goodrich serves as President of Jordan Foster Infrastructure & Concrete. Mr. Goodrich has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, 14 of which have been with Jordan Foster Construction. As President of Jordan Foster Infrastructure & Concrete, he is responsible for all divisional operations and provides management oversight for all construction projects. Current and past projects include commercial/retail sites, residential subdivisions, water and wastewater systems, public roadways and international projects.
Mr. Goodrich holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from New Mexico State University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in both Texas and New Mexico.
Chief Financial Officer
Doug Joehl serves as Chief Financial Officer of Jordan Foster Construction. His experience as a proven financial leader includes a diverse background with strong commercial, technical and analytical skills. Mr. Joehl’s capabilities and strengths include finance planning and analysis, treasury operations, strategic planning and budgeting, operations support and much more. Mr. Joehl also has experience with both public and private companies in the engineering and construction, oil and gas, financial services and healthcare sectors.
Chief Operating Officer
Paul Bauer serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Jordan Foster Construction’s Commercial Group.
Mr. Bauer has worked within the construction industry for more than 35 years and joined Jordan Foster Construction in 1992. He is responsible for operations of the Commercial Group and has extensive experience in all phases of construction and project development. Mr. Bauer graduated from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
Mr. Bauer is past president of the El Paso Chapter of Associated General Contractors, and on the advisory boards of the UTEP College of Engineering and UTEP Construction Managers Master’s Program.
Executive Vice President of Risk Management
Tricia is the Executive Vice President of Risk Management for Jordan Foster Construction a large construction organization that performs civil, multifamily and general contracting across Texas. Tricia leads the risk management and safety efforts.
Previously Tricia served as a Risk Management Executive for American Contractors Insurance Group where she provided risk management and safety consulting services for contractors across the United States. She is an expert on contractual risk transfer, risk financing, wrap-ups, subcontractor default insurance, claims management, conflict resolution, and safety.
Tricia is a construction industry expert and speaker on various leadership, risk management and safety topics, including crisis management, emergency response best practices, education across cultures, and servant leadership and diversity.
She holds a master’s degree in dispute resolution from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and her bachelor of science in business administration and bachelor of arts in communication—public relations from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
Her professional credentials include Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU); Certified Safety Professional (CSP); Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS); Associate in Risk Management (ARM); Associate in Claims Management (AIC); licensed Texas claims representative and commercial agent; and served as a construction panel arbitrator with the AAA.
Tricia is the author of the upcoming book “The B Words; 13 Words Every Woman Must Navigate on the Journey to Self Defined Success” where she highlights challenges and breakthrough strategies for women entering non-traditional roles in the workplace.
Board Member
Paul Foster is the President of Franklin Mountain Management, LLC. Through his company Franklin Mountain JFC, LLC, Mr. Foster is a partner in Jordan Foster Construction.
Mr. Foster also serves as a director on the boards of Franklin Mountain Capital, LLC, Franklin Mountain Energy, LLC, Vomaris Innovations, Inc., the El Paso branch of the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank, and WestStar Bank. He is a former Chairman of The University of Texas Board of Regents, and a former Chairman of The University of Texas Investment Management Company (UTIMCO). Mr. Foster has also served on the Texas Business Leadership Council, and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
Mr. Foster has received numerous honors, including the Baylor University Distinguished Alumni Award, El Pasoan of the Year by El Paso Inc., Entrepreneur of the Year by the Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce, the El Paso Business Hall of Fame award by Junior Achievement of the Desert Southwest, and has twice received the City of El Paso’s highest honor, the Conquistador Award. Most recently, he was inducted into The Texas Business Hall of Fame.
Board Member
William Kell serves as Chief Operating Officer of Franklin Mountain Investments, which is active in various investment and operating business activities across several industries.
From 2003 through June 2015, Mr. Kell served as a member of the Board of Directors, Executive Vice President in the Asset Management Division, and Chief Financial Officer for Hunt Companies, a national real estate lending, development and investment firm.
Mr. Kell was with Security Capital Group for 11 years, primarily as Senior Vice President and Controller for one of its investee companies, Archstone Communities Trust. He also served in similar positions for Archstone’s predecessors, Property Trust of America and Security Capital Atlantic.
Earlier, Mr. Kell served as Controller and Vice President at Bohannon Development Corporation, a multifamily development and property management firm, after beginning his career with the international accounting firm of KPMG. Mr. Kell received his BBA in Accounting from Texas Tech University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
