The 12-acre UTEP Campus Transformation project features the multi-faceted revitalization of the University of Texas at El Paso campus center. Project highlights include the creation of Centennial Plaza, a traffic-free meeting place, the installation of the lhakhang building, a gift to the American people by the country of Bhutan, and the redesign of many areas of campus, including Leech Grove, The Arroyo, and Miner Alley, with new pathways, bike lanes, fountains, and shaded gathering spots.
