El Paso, TX – El Paso Electric (EPE) has selected Jordan Foster Construction’s Commercial and Infrastructure divisions to expand their Eastside Operations Center (EOC) Facility. This partnership showcases a shared commitment to meeting the growing energy demands of the Eastlake Boulevard area, driven by recent residential, retail, and industrial development and growth.

Ash Kamath, Vice President of Commercial Division at Jordan Foster, said, “Jordan Foster Construction has partnered with El Paso Electric to build an expansion to their existing facility to align with their goals of long-term reliability and operational security of our region’s energy supply.”

The EOC Facility Expansion is a significant milestone in EPE’s efforts to deliver reliable electricity. This critical upgrade will strengthen EPE’s power grid by reducing voltage from high-capacity transmission lines, ensuring efficient power distribution to meet the energy needs of residents and businesses. The expansion will enhance energy delivery to critical areas, enabling EPE to maintain safe, reliable, and innovative energy operations that adapt to the community’s evolving needs. This investment marks a proactive step towards enhancing the reliability and resilience of the company’s energy systems.

As the lead general contractor, Jordan Foster’s commercial division oversees the EOC plans and designs in partnership with design teams, prioritizing time management and budget considerations, particularly in the face of rising costs. On the infrastructure side, the skilled internal concrete team is building a strong foundation that enhances both functionality and durability—improving the site through essential civil improvements, including dirt work, grading, pond upgrades and the construction of robust concrete structure walls for tilt-ups.
