El Paso, TX – Schneider Electric, a global leader in electrical components, digital automation, and energy management, is advancing a major expansion of its El Paso manufacturing campus. Jordan Foster Construction has been the general contractor and trusted partner throughout the master planning and design phases, collaborating closely with Schneider Electric and Plexxar Investments to modernize and expand the company’s electrical equipment facilities, ensuring they align with Schneider Electric’s growing operational needs.

Since first partnering with Schneider Electric in 2020—and completing the company’s most recent building in 2022—Jordan Foster Construction has built a strong, collaborative relationship. For this expansion, the team took a proactive approach, thoroughly evaluating current manufacturing operations to understand space requirements and workflows. This insight has guided the reconstruction of efficient, purpose-built manufacturing spaces tailored to Schneider Electric’s production processes. The project adds a sixth building to the campus, addressing the need for increased manufacturing capacity and accommodating updated equipment critical to the company’s continued growth.

Jordan Foster Construction’s involvement extends beyond traditional construction, with the Building Group providing design and constructability reviews to ensure the new facility incorporates the latest manufacturing capabilities. This strategic partnership supports Schneider Electric’s adoption of innovative building approaches that enhance efficiency and long-term adaptability. A notable example is the work of Jordan Foster Construction’s in-house Infrastructure Group, which accelerated the schedule and reduced on-site congestion by prefabricating retaining wall frames off-site. These components are being built off-site and delivered for rapid installation, minimizing disruption and keeping the project on track.
