Industry Partners Step Up in Kerr County Recovery Efforts
From donations to boots on the ground, industry partners step up to help with Kerr County recovery efforts.
Kerrville, TX – As Kerr County continues its long recovery from devastating floods along the Guadalupe River, the construction industry has demonstrated the power of partnership and community. Several of Jordan Foster Construction’s trusted partners, including White Cap, Diverse Construction Group, and Hytera, quickly mobilized to provide resources, manpower, and hope to those impacted.
White Cap responded immediately, donating thousands of dollars’ worth of cleaning and PPE supplies that Jordan Foster team members delivered to Camp CAMP in Kerrville. These supplies were critical to the early cleanup efforts. “At White Cap, we truly value our community partnerships. We stand strong together to support the recovery efforts for the people of Texas,” said Rye Dugosh, National Sales Manager for White Cap.
Diverse Construction Group deepened their support by joining the response efforts on the ground. Their team joined forces with Texas State Representative Josie Garcia in cleanup operations and supported search and rescue efforts. “This recovery is about neighbors helping neighbors,” said Dario Hernandez, Owner of Diverse Construction. “With the support of partners like Hytera, Family Powersports, Jordan Foster, The Tow Pros, Aqua Eye, and so many others, we were able to respond faster and more effectively.”
Hytera contributed to the collaborative effort by equipping Diverse Construction with radios, ensuring clear communication during critical search and rescue missions. “Moments like these remind us that our industry is at its best when we come together,” said Ryan Ousley, Sales Engineer at Hytera.
Jordan Foster employees also played a role, organizing a companywide donation drive to replace camp supplies lost in the flood. Camp CAMP received new toys, activity materials, learning resources, and electronics, small but powerful tools in restoring a sense of normalcy for children and families.
“The outpouring of support from our community has been deeply moving. At CAMP, we serve children and adults with disabilities, and every program we offer helps provide joy, independence, and new experiences for our campers, as well as much-needed respite for their parents and caregivers,” said Susan Osborne, CEO of Camp CAMP, “The generosity of the team at Jordan Foster Construction, coming together to purchase so many items from our Amazon Wish List, ensures we can continue creating inclusive, year-round programming.
Together, these contributions demonstrated how collective action can help work toward turning tragedy into resilience. Kerr County continues its road to recovery, and the construction industry will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder in that effort.
“At Jordan Foster, we believe in Building Texas Together,” said Roy Raines, Jordan Foster Construction Building Group President. “It’s the strength of all of us together to step forward and make a difference in times like these.”
