This project focused on the construction of an overpass above UPRR’s tracks next to the Bobcat Stadium in San Marcos, Texas. Loop 82, locally known as Aquarena Springs Drive, is one of the most heavily trafficked streets in San Marcos, connecting the University to IH-35. By building an overpass above these railroad tracks, drivers no longer have to worry about being delayed by the train crossing, and should experience an overall safer and more timely commute. Work also included frontage road that grant access to Post Road, utility upgrades, sidewalks, improved illumination, and asphalt paving from Thorpe Lane to Charles Austin.
