An integrated facility designed by RVK Architects provides a holistic space for veteran health and wellness.

Endeavors proudly celebrated the grand opening of its new  Health & Wellness Center in El Paso, a first-of-its-kind Health & Wellness Center built by Jordan Foster Construction and designed by RVK Architects. The new center expands Endeavors’ mission of promoting the mental, physical, and emotional well-being of Veterans, military service members, first responders and their families through compassionate, community-based care.

A Mission Realized Through Design and Craftsmanship

Building on the success of Endeavors’ San Antonio Health & Wellness Center, the El Paso facility was designed to reflect the region’s distinctive architectural and cultural identity. The 42,000-square-foot building reflects the Bhutanese architectural style, an homage to the University of Texas at El Paso’s iconic campus design and the community of El Paso. This approach required precise craftsmanship, intricate façade detailing, and extensive coordination between the RVK Architects and Jordan Foster Construction.

Spaces That Heal and Connect

Inside, the facility combines medical, behavioral health, fitness, and community engagement spaces under one roof, providing El Pasoans with access to integrated wellness services. A Skyfold partition system allows the community room to convert into multiple areas or open into one expansive space, supporting flexibility for programs and events.

Designed for Sustainability and Accessibility

Sustainability was a priority throughout design and construction. Deep roof overhangs, strategic shading, and the use of native desert landscaping minimize heat gain, improve comfort, and reduce long-term energy use. Every exterior and interior pathway was designed to ensure full accessibility, reinforcing Endeavors’ commitment to inclusion and care for all.

 

Celebrating El Paso’s Culture and Spirit

The interior celebrates El Paso’s unique sense of place through custom art and material selection. Highlights include living moss walls shaped like mountain peaks and a backlit resin art installation inspired by El Paso’s “Star on the Mountain.” In the main lobby, Jordan Foster’s in-house signage team created a custom relief mural depicting the Franklin Mountains—a handcrafted expression of local pride and craftsmanship.

From early site selection through final construction, collaboration among Endeavors, RVK, and Jordan Foster Construction was guided by shared values of integrity, teamwork, and compassion. Together, the partners delivered a facility that will serve as a model for future health & wellness centers, a place of connection, care, and hope for those who have served our country.
